Wadha Al-Muftah: WHO Adopts Landmark Resolution on Precision Medicine
Wadha Al-Muftah, Chief Medical Officer at Qatar Precision Health Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”WHO Member States endorsed a landmark resolution on precision medicine, an important global step towards a health system transformation.
Precision medicine has the potential to improve prevention and public health outcomes at population scale.
Equally important is ensuring that implementation remains responsible and equitable accompanied by strong governance, ethical safeguards, clinical readiness, and fair access across populations.
The future of precision medicine will not be defined only by how much data we generate, but by how responsibly and effectively we translate it into better health for all.”
