UMR1011 Researchers at ECTH 2025

Nuclear receptors, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases (Pr Bart Staels) shared on LinkedIn:

”Last week, our Team 2 led by Pr Sophie Susen successfully attended the European Congress on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ECTH)!

Our researchers delivered 4 oral presentations:

Timothée Bigot: Shedding light on hepatosteatosis and coagulation defects: insights from single-cell RNA sequencing

Rocío Vacik Díaz: High-throughput affinity proteomics reveals early dynamic changes in the circulating proteome following LVAD implantation

Mickael Rosa: Off-target effects of Emicizumab on monocytes/macrophages: phenotypic, functional, and single-cell transcriptomic data (Science Fast and Furious session)

Melanie Daniel: Unbiased assessment of VWD burden and healthcare consumption using pseudonymized big data (opening of the Focus Symposium: Bleeding)

The unit is also delighted to celebrate the achievement of Pr Antoine Rauch, Dr Mickael Rosa, and co-authors, recipients of the Bernd R. Binder Publication Prize for their 2023 publication on ECMO-associated shear forces impacting GPIbα shedding, platelet clearance, and thrombocytopenia.

This award highlights the excellence of projects combining clinical observations and translational science, underscoring our commitment to advancing the understanding of physiological and pathophysiological processes.”
