aHUS Thrombosis Insights: Valeria Guaschino Presents PhD Research at ECTH Prague
Valeria Guaschino, PhD Student at Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research, posted on LinkedIn:
”Last month, I had the opportunity to present my PhD research on the molecular mechanisms driving thrombus formation in patients with the rare thrombotic microangiopathy aHUS at the European Congress on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ECTH) in Prague.
I was selected for the Fast and Furious session, where talks are given in a TEDx-style format. For me, it was something completely new, but I really enjoyed finding creative ways to build a speech that was engaging and easy to follow.
I am especially grateful to Jean-Paul Toonen for his guidance and support.
It was a wonderful experience. Thank you to the ECTH board for giving me this opportunity.”
