Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH), shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Yousra Tera et al, adding:

“Global multicenter study establishing the reference range for ISTH BAT bleeding scores in individuals under 18 years: Communication from the SSC of the ISTH

Healthy participants under 18 (n 1,168) were recruited across 7 countries and 5 continents to validate ISTH BAT reference ranges.

The overall range of 0 to 2 held. A positive age related trend in scores above 0 was significant, and among 12 to 17 year old females the 2.5th to 97.5th percentile extended to 0 to 3.”
