Rucha Patil at Haematocon 2025: When to Suspect and How to Approach Inherited Platelet Disorders?
Rucha Patil, Scientist at Department of Haemostasis and Thrombosis, ICMR- National Institute of Immunohaematology, shared on LinkedIn:
”Haematocon 2025 – the 66th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion – held from 6th to 9th November, 2025 at Holiday Inn Lucknow Airport was truly one of the most premier gatherings for professionals in the field of Haematology.
A big congratulations to the organizing team for the beautifully planned workshops, CME sessions, and consistently full halls across all three days — a testament to the quality and engagement throughout the conference.
It was an absolute pleasure to be invited as Guest Faculty, speaking on “When to Suspect and How to Approach Inherited Platelet Disorders?”
I also had the opportunity to be a panelist for an insightful case-based discussion, exploring diverse clinical scenarios and the rationale behind choosing factor and non-factor treatments, as well as the laboratory tests essential in both emergency and planned surgical settings.
Excited for the new pen device drug Concizumab to hit the market.
Grateful for the enriching discussions and the chance to connect with so many brilliant colleagues in the field.”
