Anziya Sabeer: AI-Driven Non-Invasive Anemia Detection
Anziya Sabeer, Senior Project Assistant (AIML) at CSIR-NIIST, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Array, adding:
“I am delighted to share that our review paper, ‘Research Progress in Non-Invasive Anemia Detection: A Multimodal Imaging and AI-Driven Perspective,’ has been published in Array (Elsevier).
Anemia continues to be a significant global health challenge, driving the need for accessible and non-invasive diagnostic solutions.
In this review, we present a comprehensive overview of recent advances in AI-driven non-invasive anemia detection, highlighting multimodal imaging, machine learning and deep learning approaches, current challenges, and future research directions to support the development of next-generation healthcare technologies.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Ramesh K V, Dr. Arun Vijay Kumar Vijayakumar, and Trisha Fernando for their invaluable guidance, continuous support, and encouragement throughout this work.
Their mentorship, expertise, and insightful feedback have been instrumental in shaping this research.
I am also grateful to CSIR–National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST) for providing an excellent research environment, and to all my co-authors and colleagues whose collaboration and support contributed to the successful completion of this work.
This publication marks an important milestone in my research journey and further strengthens my interest in developing AI-driven solutions for healthcare.
I look forward to continuing to explore research that bridges artificial intelligence and real-world clinical applications.”
