Brijesh Kumar: Stroke Rehabilitation Needs Scalable and Evidence-Based Models

Brijesh Kumar, Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist /Sr. Nursing Officer at Patna Medical College and Hospital, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:

”New Research Publication | Randomized Controlled Trial

Little late but Proud to share this milestone that our RCT titled:

‘Efficacy of Nurse-Led Rehabilitation Intervention on Activity of Daily Living, Mobility, and Motor Function of Stroke Survivors’

has been published in the Saudi Journal of Nursing and Health Care (Open Access).

What we found:

  • Nurse-led rehabilitation significantly improved ADLs and motor recovery
  • Strong correlation between functional independence and motor gains
  • Continuous Reinforcement made an impact in stroke recovery to improve motor mobility functions and activity of daily livings.
  • Reinforces the scientific strength of structured nursing interventions in stroke care

Stroke rehabilitation needs scalable, evidence-based models — and nurses are central to that transformation.

Let’s continue building research that directly improves patient outcomes.”
