Chittal Raulji: ASH-ISTH 2026 Guidelines for Anticoagulant Prophylaxis for Pediatric VTE Is Now Live in Blood Advances

Chittal Raulji, Associate Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at University of Nebraska Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn:

”Excited to share that the ASH-ISTH 2026 Guidelines for Anticoagulant Prophylaxis for Pediatric Patients at Risk of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) are now published in Blood Advances!

I had the privilege of contributing to this effort, including co-authoring the accompanying Educational Slide Set designed to help clinicians, trainees, and educators translate these guidelines into practice.

Teaching slides and a downloadable PDF are also available on the ASH website.

A huge thank you to the entire guideline panel for their dedication to improving outcomes for children.

If you care for pediatric patients at risk of VTE, I encourage you to review these guidelines and share them with your teams.”
