Cihan Ay – A Special Issue of SPECTRUM Oncology Focuses on Cancer and Coagulation
Cihan Ay, Professor of Haematology at Medical University of Vienna, shared on LinkedIn:
”The treatment of patients with cancer is characterized by many challenges.
These often include complications of the cardiovascular system, thrombosis and bleeding, which are increasingly becoming the focus of clinical practice.
In a special issue of SPECTRUM Oncology, which I had the pleasure of designing, colleagues with a scientific and clinical focus at the interface between cancer, coagulation and cardiovascular diseases comprehensively examine the current findings and address new studies, guidelines and practice-relevant recommendations.
Many thanks to all authors for their contributions!
