“I am pleased to share our recently published systematic review and meta-analysis, ‘Efficacy and Safety of Rivaroxaban Plus Aspirin Compared with Aspirin Alone in Patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease,’ published in Annals of Medicine and Surgery.
This study evaluates dual pathway inhibition using rivaroxaban plus aspirin in patients with peripheral arterial disease.
Our findings suggest that combination therapy may improve cardiovascular and limb-related outcomes; however, it also underscores the importance of careful, individualized risk assessment due to an increased risk of major bleeding.
