Faruk Hossen: Investigating Cell Mechanics and RhoA/ROCK Signaling in Vascular Aging

Faruk Hossen, Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Tung D. Nguyen et al., published in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, adding:

“Excited to share our collaborative article published today in Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology (ATVB), a leading American Heart Association journal.

I am grateful to have contributed to this work through atomic force microscopy (AFM)-based measurements of cell mechanics.

This study aligns closely with my research interests and expertise in vascular biology, cytoskeletal signaling, RhoA/ROCK pathways, and cellular mechanobiology.

What I particularly appreciate about this work is its comprehensive mechanistic insight, linking vascular signaling, cytoskeletal remodeling, and alterations in cell mechanics that contribute to vascular aging.

Congratulations to Dr. Monica Lee and all co-authors on this excellent collaborative effort!”
