Flora Peyvandi: Germline-Targeting Vaccines for HIV
Flora Peyvandi, Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Milan and former President of ISTH, shared a post on X about a recent article by Jon M. Steichen et al., published in Nature, adding:
“Germline -targeting vaccines can reproducibly elicit prespecified classes of bnAbs to prespecified epitopes under endogenous conditions, supporting further optimization of this approach for HIV vaccine.”
