José Luis Neyro: E4 and DRSP Reduce Hirsutism While Showing Comparable Effects on Thrombin Generation
José Luis Neyro, Senior Consultant at Hospital Universitario Cruces, Professor of the International Master of Climacteric and Menopause at the University of Madrid, shared a post on X about a recent article by Panicha Chantrapanichkul et al., published in RPTH Journal, adding:
“E4 and DRSP and DRSP-only had comparable effects on thrombin generation and TM-mediated anticoagulation in women with PCOS.
Estetrol and Drospirenone reduced hirsutism, supporting its consideration as a treatment option for PCOS.”
