Leonard Valentino, Former President and CEO of NBDF, President of WFH USA, recenlty shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Collaborative research leverages the diverse expertise and resources of multiple individuals or institutions to address complex problems, accelerate discovery, increase the quality and impact of research and enhance the health and wellbeing of individuals. In other area of medicine like oncology, this approach has accelerated the development of new life saving treatments. We describe the BLEEDING DISORDERS RESEARCH COLLABORATIVE, an attempt to foster collaborative research in inherited bleeding disorders to realize these same benefits- to advance an accessible standard of care and improve the quality of life for all people living with inheritable bleeding disorders.”
