Marianne Yee, Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-auhtored, published in Blood Advances, adding:
“Excited to share the results of our RBC transfusion survival studies in children and adults with sickle cell disease who receive chronic transfusion therapy, with my collaborators Ross Fasano, Patty Zerra , Cassandra Josephson, Richard Francis, Hailly Butler, Chris Lough, Bhaveshkumar Delvadia, Ashish Parikh, Sean Stowell, John Roback.
Looking forward to continue to pursue our understanding of how to improve transfusion effectiveness through understanding patient and blood donor conditions.”
