Partha Haldar, Epidemiologist, Additional Professor at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in JAMA Cardiology, adding:

“Delighted to share that our collaborative work is published in JAMA Cardiology.

Tenecteplase vs Alteplase in Mechanical Prosthetic Heart Valve Thrombosis: The TENET Randomized Clinical Trial.

In this non-inferiority trial, we showed Tenecteplase may be a safe and effective alternative to Alteplase in patients presenting with obstructive PHVT.

As an epidemiologist I contributed to the study’s design strategy, statistical analysis plan, formal analysis, and interpretation.

Grateful to my cardiology colleagues, Prof. Gautam Sharma, the PI, and the co-authors for an excellent interdisciplinary collaboration.
