Roberta Gualtierotti: We are excited to share GAJA! Towards More Accessible, Patient-Empowering Care in Hemophilia
Roberta Gualtierotti, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at University of Milan, shared on LinkedIn:
”Timely diagnosis of joint bleeds is crucial to prevent long-term damage in people with hemophilia
Access to specialized care and the operator-dependent nature of ultrasound make remote monitoring a real challenge.
We are excited to share GAJA (Guided self-Acquisition of Joint ultrAsound images):
- a mobile system that guides patients in acquiring joint ultrasound images, without real-time supervision
- now extended beyond the knees to include elbows and ankles
- fully integrated with the CADET platform, enabling clinicians to assess images remotely
Towards more accessible, patient-empowering care in hemophilia.”
