New Proteomic Insights into MPN Thrombosis from Blanca De Moner and Team

”I’m very pleased to share that the second article from my PhD has just been published in Translational Oncology.
Our study, titled “Proteomic profiling links complement activation to thrombosis in JAK2V617F myeloproliferative neoplasms”, explores the molecular mechanisms underlying thrombotic complications in patients with JAK2V617F-mutated myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
Using a comprehensive proteomic analysis, we identified significant dysregulation of complement and coagulation pathways in these patients, particularly among those with splanchnic vein thrombosis (SVT).
These insights open new avenues for biomarker-driven risk stratification and potential therapeutic strategies to reduce thrombotic risk in this high-risk population.
I’m truly grateful to my co-authors and collaborators for their contributions and support throughout this project.
You can read the full open-access article here.”
