Mahesan Subramaniam: New AI Blood Test Reveals How Fast Your Organs Are Aging
Dato Capt. Dr. Mahesan Subramaniam, Co-Founder United Health Tourism, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A simple blood test can now reveal which of your organs are aging—and how fast.
Scientists have developed a blood test that uses AI to detect proteins leaked by aging organs, revealing which parts of your body are getting older faster than others—and how this affects your risk of dying within 15 years.
Analyzing data from over 45,000 adults, the test showed that people with eight or more rapidly aging organs face a much higher risk of death, while a younger brain and immune system can significantly lower that risk. Lifestyle choices matter too: poor sleep and smoking speed up organ aging, but exercise, fish, and certain supplements can help keep your organs healthier for longer.
