Michael Makris, Emeritus Professor of Haemostasis and Thrombosis at the University of Sheffield, Editor-in-Chief of RPTH Journal, posted on LinkedIn:
“The level of misinformation, especially coming from the US, on vaccine safety is frightening.
There is an excellent editorial in this week’s New England Journal of Medicine dealing with the misinformation and lies which focus on adverse effects and ignoring the very real benefits of vaccination.
Vaccines have transformed health care throughout the world. What is happening in the US is frightening and unfortunately far right politicians are trying to replicate it in the UK.”
