Cihan Ay: Can AI Match Thrombosis Experts?
Cihan Ay, Professor of Haematology at Medical University of Vienna, shared on LinkedIn:
”Can AI match thrombosis experts?
Our new paper in Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shows: AI models deliver patient education answers that are often rated better than experts — and perform on par in complex clinical cases.
The results indicate that AI can become a valuable support in clinical decision-making — provided it is used responsibly within clear frameworks.
I would like to thank all colleagues for participating in this study and Nikola Vladic for leading the project.”
