Nicholas Jarjour to Join Versiti Blood Research Institute!
Versiti Blood Research Institute shared on LinkedIn:
”Please join us in welcoming Nicholas Jarjour, PhD to Versiti Blood Research Institute!
He is joining VBRI as an associate investigator in Hematopoiesis and Immunology.
Dr. Jarjour earned his PhD at Washington University in St. Louis and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Minnesota.
His research explores the evolution of tissue-resident immunity: how immune cells living within organs support health, respond to disease, and adapt over time.
When asked what his Versiti spark is, Dr. Jarjour said, “It’s the opportunity to discover what we’ve never known before and try to use that to improve human health.
It’s an incredible privilege. Not a lot of people get to do that.”
