Nana Kwame Kwabi Boateng: Grateful For The Opportunity to Serve As A SEARCH Ambassador
Nana Kwame Kwabi Boateng, Graduate Research Assistant at The Michigan State University, shared on LinkedIn:
”I had an incredible experience over the weekend at the 2025 Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society SEARCH (Students Exploring Academic Research Careers in Hematology) Workshop in Milwaukee!
It was inspiring to connect with such bright, curious students and exchange ideas about research, mentorship, and academic career paths in hematology.
Experiences like this remind me that even the smallest conversations or moments of encouragement can spark ripples that carry forward into the next generation of scientists and leaders.
A heartfelt thank-you to the HTRS team and organizers for creating such an engaging, inclusive, and thoughtfully designed program, and to the wonderful mentors and faculty who shared their wisdom, time, and experiences throughout the weekend.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as a SEARCH Ambassador and contribute to a community that continues to champion mentorship and growth in our field.”
