Ann Marie O’Neill: Thrombosis Advocacy in Germany
Ann Marie O’Neill, a member of The World Thrombosis Day Steering Committee, shared a post on Linkedin:
“Thrombosis advocacy has a European movement too and the Thrombosis Action Alliance in Germany worked hard on World Thrombosis Day to raise awareness.
Every year, up to 40,000 people in Germany die as a result of pulmonary embolism (PE). They were out in Leipzig educating people about prevention, diagnostics and therapy of this dangerous disease under the motto “Quick action saves lives.”
