Keith Siau: Fish Oil Halved Cardiovascular Risk in Hemodialysis Patients

“As a child, I was asked to take a cod liver oil capsule every day. Now, this randomised trial in NEJM found that one capsule of fish oil a day nearly halved the risk of serious cardiovascular events in patients on haemodialysis. Perhaps my parents had a point after all!”
