”I am pleased to share the interview I gave to the MyOtorrino platform on a topic I consider fundamental in clinical practice: post-stroke oropharyngeal dysphagia.
In this conversation, I discussed the main risk factors identified in our study, the role of the NIHSS as a relevant clinical marker, and the importance of instrumental swallowing assessment—namely Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) – in the hospital setting.
I am truly glad to see this topic gaining visibility, given its clinical, functional, and prognostic impact.”
