The Real Cost of Healthcare Cuts: HFA is Launching a Campaign | Advocate for Bleeding Disorders Community
Bleeding Disorders Council of California recently shared a post on X, urging to join the campaign:
”The Senate just passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a dangerous bill that puts the health and future of our bleeding disorders community at risk.”

Congress has recently advanced a Bill Act that has a potential to jeopardize the chronic care access for thousands with bleeding disorders across the country.
The Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) is sounding the alarm through its national advocacy campaign.
If the proposed cuts to Medicaid and premium subsidies move forward, here’s what’s at stake for the community:
- Loss of Medicaid coverage, putting high-cost, lifesaving treatments out of reach for thousands.
- Higher insurance premiums due to the reduction of enhanced Premium Tax Credits (ePTC), making Marketplace plans unaffordable for many.
- Increased financial hardship for families already carrying the burden of managing a chronic condition like hemophilia.
The campaign is encouraging you to amplify their message and stand up for the community.
