Raphaël Liévin: In March 2026 SFH Will Host Its Very First Young EHA Research Meeting (YERM)!
Raphaël Liévin, Young EHA Ambassador, shared on LinkedIn:
”Dear network,
Great news!
In March 2026, the SFH will host its very first Young EHA Research Meeting (YERM)!
The YERM will shine a spotlight on young European hematologists—clinicians, biologists, and scientists.
This session will be dedicated to the excellence and dynamism of the new generation, and will conclude with an exceptional keynote conference.
Who can apply?
All young European colleagues:
Working in France, regardless of their nationality,
or French speakers currently working abroad.
To participate:
Check the box “Application for the session: YoungEHA Research Meeting by AIH/SFH” when submitting your abstract.
(Conditions: interns, CCA, doctoral students, or junior post-doctoral students under 36 years of age)
Submission and presentation language:
French is perfectly acceptable for abstract submission.
Exceptionally, English will also be accepted for YERM applications.
But please note:
If you submit in English, you will only be able to apply for the YERM and not for other sessions.
The oral presentation must be in English.
Why this session?
To strengthen exchanges, build bridges, and promote scientific integration at the European level.
A huge thank you to the EHA, which will cover the registration fees for the 2027 EHA Congress for two of the YERM presenters!
Thanks also to the SFH, which places young people at the heart of its priorities, and to the Association of French Residents in Hematology, the voice of young French hematologists.
I would like to extend my warmest thanks to:
- Khansa Saadallah, for her support in developing the project,
- Côme Bommier (YoungEHA/SFH), for his invaluable advice,
- Mathilde Chanut (AIH), for her support,
- Nuno Borges and Nikolia Iatrou, MBA (YoungEHA/EHA), for their trust,
- And finally, Prof. Emmanuel Raffoux, president of the SFH, for his constant and kind support of the younger generation.
We look forward to discovering your abstracts and promoting French and European hematology together!
Get your submissions in!”
