Abhishek Jha Received American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship Award 2026-2027

Among these, the AHA Postdoctoral Fellowship Award recognizes promising early-career scientists and provides support for high-impact research that aligns with AHA’s mission to improve and save lives.
Abhishek Jha recently shared news of his latest achievement with Hemostasis Today.
“I am pleased to announce that I have been awarded a two-year American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship (2026–2027).
My funded project, ‘Metabolic reprogramming to enhance hematoma resolution in intracerebral hemorrhage,’ will focus on advancing strategies to improve recovery following hemorrhagic stroke.
I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Anil Chauhan for his mentorship and for supporting my development as a scientist. I also extend my appreciation to my lab colleagues for their collaborative spirit, and to the senior investigators who kindly provided letters of support.
My heartfelt thanks to the American Heart Association and the review committee for recognizing the potential impact of this work and investing in its progress.
