Malaria in the Democratic Republic of Congo: Protecting the Most Vulnerable and Consolidating Gains Towards Elimination
Malaria remains one of the greatest public health challenges in the Democratic Republic of Congo, disproportionately affecting pregnant women and children under 5.
Despite significant progress, the risk of resurgence persists if efforts are not sustained.
We are pleased to share this scientific article from the Coalition Against Malaria Project, an initiative led by the Medical Research Circle MedReC, which highlights the crucial role of support programs in protecting high-risk populations and preventing the resurgence of malaria in the Congo.
This work aligns with the COAMA project’s vision of translating scientific evidence into concrete actions to save lives in high-disease settings.
