Jo Jewell Announces Novartis Foundation and Novo Nordisk Collaboration
Jo Jewell, Director, Head of Social Responsibility Partnerships at Novo Nordisk, shared on LinkedIn:
”We’re excited to see the Novartis Foundation and Novo Nordisk join forces to tackle cardiometabolic risk in cities.
Our new collaboration will combine insights and proven approaches from the two leading urban health programmes CARDIO 4 Cities (Novartis Foundation and Cities for Better Health (Novo Nordisk).
Initially launching in two European capitals, the goal is to build scalable models using practical tools, real-time data and catalytic funding to scale prevention and strengthen health systems in many more cities.
By working together, our collaboration has the potential to create lasting impact on urban health and social inequities.
