Reagun Andera: Global Health Advances Through Proximity, Not Scale Alone
Reagun Andera, Programs Officer at White Ribbon Alliance Kenya, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Global health does not advance through scale alone. It advances through proximity.
Through listening. Through the humility to redesign.
If we are serious about equity, then solutions must travel the last mile into women’s hands.
We should stop focusing on ‘How do we roll this out?’ and start asking, ‘Who is this for — and who is missing?’
That is where impact lives.”
David McIntosh, Founder and Chair of United Plasma Action, shared this post, adding:
” ‘Who is this for — and who is missing?’
Reagun Andera’s words must surely resonate with all who battle for Health Equity, globally.
If more of us asked ourselves that question more often, the World would be a better place.”
