Anirban Sen Gupta, Wallace R. Persons Professor of Engineering in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, shared on LinkedIn:
”Thank you Emily Mihalko for highlighting our novel dielectric coagulometry microsensor based platelet and coagulopathy assessment technology in your talk on forward-looking Point of Care diagnostics for transfusion guidance, at the MTEC | Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium Platelet So T meeting!
The technologies are being developed at Case School of Engineering at Case Western Reserve University via collaboration between our lab at Case Western Reserve University Department of Biomedical Engineering with the lab of Pedram Mohseni, along with Matthew D. Neal lab at Pittsburgh Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center and Sanjay Ahuja at Innovative Hematology, Inc.
Grateful for initial funding support from the Department of War Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs to get the technology to its current TRL.”
