Robert Hamilton: Our Latest Research Project on Intracranial Pressure in The Reality of A Global Pandemic
Robert Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer of NeuraSignal, shared on LinkedIn:
”We’ve officially wrapped up our latest intracranial pressure (ICP) research project, funded by the U.S. Department of Defense (W81XWH1720058).
Looking back on the journey of this grant, I’m struck by two things: the timing and the tangible impact.
The Timing: We started enrollment for this study in January 2020.
Transitioning a clinical research project into the reality of a global pandemic was an immense challenge for our team and our partners.
Pushing through that period required a level of grit and adaptability that I’m incredibly proud of.
The Innovation: This wasn’t just about verifying a theory; it was about pushing the boundaries of what ultrasound can do.
We made significant leaps in the software architecture that drives our innovations in hardware.
The Impact: I’m thrilled to share that the development work done under this grant isn’t just sitting in a paper, many of the findings / innovations are live in our commercial product today.
Seeing ‘bench-to-bedside’ happen in real-time is why we do this.
Transparency I believe this work needs to continue advancing across the industry.
In the spirit of transparency, if you’d like to see the full grant application to understand our methodology and goals, just comment ‘grant’ below and I’ll send it over.
I’m currently at LSI USA in Dana Point this week.
I’ll be speaking about how automation and data-driven workflows are moving the needle for stroke and brain health.
If you’re here, let’s grab a coffee and talk about the future of non-invasive diagnostics.”
