Vikram Huded: I Have Taken Over as the President of the Indian Stroke Association
Vikram Huded, Director and Clinical Lead for Interventional Neurology Program at Narayana Health, shared on LinkedIn:
”Today, with the blessings of God, and with the support of my family, mentors, colleagues and friends, I have taken over as the President of the Indian Stroke Association.
I accept this responsibility with deep humility and a strong sense of purpose.
Stroke remains one of the leading causes of death and disability in India.
Yet the truth is powerful and hopeful – stroke is preventable and stroke is treatable if recognized early and treated in time.
Over the coming year, my focus will be on strengthening stroke awareness, improving systems of care, supporting young neurologists and neurointerventionists, and building collaborations that can transform stroke care across our country.
This journey is not about one individual. It is about a collective mission.
Together, we can ensure that more brains are saved, more lives are protected, and more families are spared the devastation of stroke.
I look forward to working with colleagues across India and around the world to advance this mission.
Let us work together to Save the Brain.”
