Marking a Century of Progress in von Willebrand Disease – HFA
Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) posted on LinkedIn:
”This year marks 100 years since Finnish physician Erik von Willebrand first described von Willebrand disease (vWD), the most common inherited bleeding disorder.
As we reflect on a century of progress, continued education and patient-centered insights remain essential to improving outcomes.
At Symposium New Orleans, HFA will feature sessions focused on vWD, including:
- ‘Understanding Your vWD Type: What It Means for You Across the Lifespan,’ featuring Nicoletta C. Machin.
- ‘Listening to People with von Willebrand Disease and Their Caregivers: Insights from the PIVOT-vWD US Patient-Reported Evidence and Insights Program’ featuring Sam Bristow, Co-founder and CEO of DHT Health
Register to join the conversation.”
