Hema Tallman: Honored To Be Appointed Chair of the Global Plasma Board of PPTA
Hema Tallman, SVP- Global Head of BioLife Plasma Services at Takeda, shared on LinkedIn:
”I have dedicated much of my career to leading large healthcare organizations, where teams collaborate daily to serve patients, pharmacists, clinicians, and communities.
A key realization I’ve come to is that the most significant challenges in healthcare cannot be addressed by any single company; they require our industry to work together.
I am honored to have been appointed Chair of the Global Plasma Board of the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA).
The plasma-derived therapies community exemplifies what collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem can achieve.
From plasma donors to manufacturers, healthcare providers, scientists, regulators, and, most importantly, our patients, thousands contribute to therapies that people around the world rely on every day.
Leading organizations with over 11,000 employees has imparted many lessons about leadership at scale.
One crucial lesson is that trust is not established through words but through consistent, collective action.
As trust in healthcare systems faces global challenges, the need for transparent and collaborative efforts across the industry has never been more critical.
I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important work alongside my fellow board members and the broader PPTA community.”
