Marilena Vrana: Advancing Early Diagnosis and Access to Plasma Medicines for World PI Week 2026
Marilena Vrana, Vice President at the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA) Europe, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“World PI Week 2026 is here.
Working in the plasma community, I am continually inspired by the strength and resilience of the people living with Primary Immunodeficiency that I have met from around the world.
This week is an important opportunity to raise awareness, amplify patient voices, and highlight the critical importance of early diagnosis and access to care. I’m proud to stand alongside patients, advocates, and partners who are driving progress every day.
Together, we must continue working toward a future where all patients have access to the support and treatments they need, including life-saving plasma–derived medicines.”
