Ashkan Shoamanesh: Optimizing the Future of Stroke Trials – Reflections from ESOC2026 Science Workshop
Ashkan Shoamanesh, Associate Professor of Medicine (Neurology), Marta and Owen Boris Chair in Stroke Research and Care at McMaster University, shared on LinkedIn:
”Honoured to have been invited to deliver a keynote lecture at the 2025 European Stroke Organisation Science Workshop on ‘How to Optimize Future Randomized Trials to Prevent and Treat Stroke.’
It was a truly memorable few days among friends and colleagues—marked by outstanding lectures, thoughtful discussions, and even some early morning sledding —in the stunning setting of EIBSEE HOTEL near Garmisch.
Grateful to Rustam Al-Shahi Salman and the organizing committee for their kind invitation and warm hospitality.
Looking forward to reconnecting with everyone at the European Stroke organization Conference (ESOC26) in Maastricht next week!”
