Emma Vorstman Bromley: Why Rapid Medical Assessments Are a ‘God-Send’ for Attorneys?
Emma Vorstman Bromley, Director – Mid Market Sales at Expert Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Not every medical case needs years of litigation to get answers. Sometimes, you just need the right physician review – fast.
We recently worked with a firm on a highly complex cardiovascular case involving:
- Multiple cardiac stent procedures
- Complicated anticoagulant/antiplatelet medication management
- Questions surrounding potential standard of care issues
The central issue was whether prescribing two powerful medications simultaneously under the circumstances of treatment created a deviation from the standard of care.
After a detailed physician-led Medical Record Review, the conclusion was:
- No clear standard of care deviation identified
And while that may not have been the liability opinion the firm hoped for, getting a rapid, defensible medical assessment early helped provide clarity before significant additional resources were invested.
The attorney’s feedback:
‘The ability to get the verbal opinions quickly is a God-send.’
That’s exactly why firms use our Medical Record Review team:
- Fast physician insight
- Early case evaluation support
- Merit and standard of care analysis
- Real-world strategic guidance before litigation costs escalate
Sometimes the greatest value isn’t finding liability – it’s getting answers quickly enough to make smarter case decisions.”
