Michael Lichardi: New Publication on Complex Anticoagulation Management in Critical Care
Michael Lichardi, Unit Based Pharmacist at Hackensack Meridian Health, Advisory Board Member of Gaits to Healing, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his collegues co-authored, published in American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, adding:
“Excited to share our publication in the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy!
This case report covers a challenging anticoagulation scenario involving adrenal hemorrhage, apixaban reversal, active DVT, and heparin-induced thrombocytopenia in a critically ill patient.
Really grateful for the opportunity to work on this with an awesome team and contribute to the literature in critical care pharmacy.
Big thanks to my co-authors Shannon Moriarty and Haley Nicholas.”
