Dual Prognostic Significance of P2RY12 in Antithrombotic-Treated STEMI – JTH
Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Jiqing Li et al, published in Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, adding:
“The dual role of P2RY12: Impact of polymorphism and expression on ischemic events and bleeding in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction receiving antithrombotic therapy.
In 1828 STEMI patients on ticagrelor, P2RY12 polymorphisms and expression levels showed opposing effects on ischemic and bleeding risks, revealing novel nonlinear relationships for refined cardiovascular risk stratification.”
