Cécile Jefford: The NEHA Community and the Power of Human Connection
Cécile Jefford, Director of Training for Global Development Excellence, Functional Learning and Engagement at BioNTech SE, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Another year volunteering at the Boston fundraiser supporting the NEHA, the New England Hemophilia Association.
Never underestimate the power of people united by purpose.
What I witnessed today wasn’t just an event.
- It was seven restaurants donating their time, talent, and teams.
- It was families and friends turning their personal journey into action by organizing, fundraising, and creating opportunities for others to contribute and act.
- It was volunteers showing up early, just happy to help.
- And it was hundreds of people laughing, connecting, buying raffle tickets, popping balloons, and having fun; all while supporting a cause that changes lives.
What I cherish the most is to see the generosity, the passion, and the connections that brought this community together.
Nobody was there because they had to be. They were there because they cared.
In a world where we spend so much time talking about leadership, culture, and purpose, today was a powerful reminder that the strongest communities are built through action, generosity, and strong human connections.
Congrats Kate Reinhalter Bazinsky and NEHA Board members for making this happen!”
