Sophie Georgin-Lavialle: First ERN-RITA Recommendations on USAID
Sophie Georgin-Lavialle, Head of the Adult French Reference Center for Autoinflammatory Diseases and AA Amyloidosis at AP-HP (Paris University Hospitals), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored and delighted to have co‑coordinated with Marco Gattorno the first ERN-RITA recommendations on Undifferentiated Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases (USAID).
Our in‑person meeting in Vincennes (France) enabled the task force to complete the voting process and finalize the full set of overarching principles and recommendation statements—an important step to keep the project on track and deliver the manuscript on time.
We were fortunate to benefit from outstanding methodological support from Erkan Demirkaya (ISSAID President), and to count Helen Lachmann (ISSAID Past President) and Seza Ozen (PReS President) among our expert members.
As ERN-RITA Autoinflammatory Stream Lead and ISSAID Clinical Chair, I am especially grateful to our 2 fellows and all participants for their time, expertise, and commitment – both in person and remotely – and to the City of Mairie de Vincennes for its warm welcome and excellent conditions for productive work!”
