Finn Guo: Driving a New Era of Accessible Gene Therapy for Hemophilia in China
Finn Guo, Director of Information Research at Illness Challenge Foundation, shared on LinkedIn:
”From launching the project in March to completing the research report ‘Payment Mechanism and Global Strategies for Innovative Hemophilia Therapies’ in June — officially presented at the International Hemophilia Conference.
We started with patient surveys to truly understand the challenges, drew insights from international best practices, and finally developed practical solution frameworks.
While the scheme is still a long way from real-world implementation, I’m truly excited that the rapid progress in China’s domestic gene therapy for hemophilia — combined with current market pricing — is set to usher China into a new era of accessible gene therapy.
Hope is on the horizon.”
