Amber Yates: Stretching Scientific Muscles in Areas of Hematology – Day 2 at EHA 2026
Amber Yates, Senior Medical Director and Global Medical Affairs Leader at Agios Pharmaceuticals, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“EHA 2026 – Day 2
Day 2 at EHA 2026 is about diving back in — stretching scientific muscles in areas of hematology that I haven’t spent as much time in recently.
There’s something energizing about stepping outside of your usual space and reconnecting with the depth and breadth of rare disease research.
From novel mechanisms to evolving treatment paradigms, it’s a powerful reminder of how much innovation is happening across our field.
Every session brings new perspectives that ultimately make us better at what we do for patients.
On a personal level, today is also building a sense of anticipation and pride as we head into tomorrow.
I’m incredibly excited for Agios to share our sickle cell data from rise up — work that reflects deep collaboration, scientific rigor, and most importantly, a commitment to improving outcomes for people living with sickle cell.
Grateful for the learning, the conversations, and the constant push to grow.”
