Alba Maiques Diaz: Completion of My Tenure in the YoungEHA Committee at the EHA
Alba Maiques Diaz, Ramon y Cajal Group Leader at Universitat de Barcelona, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Once again, the European Hematology Association (EHA) annual congress continues to be an amazing and inspiring event, to discuss science, meet friends, and make new connexions.
This year it’s an special one, as I have finish my time at the YoungEHA committee.
After all these years, I feel happy to look back and realize all we have accomplished, from seeing the YERM grow to launching the Mentorship program, but specially for all the people I had have the priviledge to meet and work with during this years.
This experience has been truly transformative for me and my career.
I am especially grateful to have seen the commitment of the people from the EHA office and the board of directors, who have always listened to us and make sure our voice had a place at the association.
I leave convinced that the committee is in the best hands, and reassured that the power of community is what has the potential to make hematology grow.”
