On World Blood Donor Day 2026, Kasturba Hospital Blood Centre, Manipal came together to celebrate the true heroes of healthcare—our voluntary blood donors and dedicated camp organizers!

Highlights from the Celebration:

Honoring Our Heroes: We proudly felicitated more than 80 voluntary blood donors and camp organizers whose selfless contributions continue to save countless lives.

The Solidarity Pledge: A collective pledge was taken by the audience to continuously promote voluntary blood donation and foster a healthier community.

Recognizing Excellence: Congratulations to our outstanding team members, Ms. Smitha and Miss Sowjanya, for receiving the Best Technical Staff and Best Non-Technical Staff awards respectively!

Chief guest for the program was Prof Dr Ramakrishna Aithal, Guest of honour was Dr Devidas Naik.

The meeting was presided by Dr Sudhakar Kantipudi, COO and Dr Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.”
