Taiwo Olabisi: Exploring the Promise of Factor XIa Inhibitors in Stroke Prevention
Taiwo Olabisi, Registered Nurse at Lasuth, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Closed my laptop today feeling incredibly fulfilled. I just completed an advanced pharmacotherapy certification: ‘Less Bleeding, More Prevention: A Nurse-Focused Review of the Paradigm-Shifting Promise of Factor XIa Inhibitors in Secondary Stroke Prevention.’
While working in a busy surgical department, you quickly realize that patient care doesn’t stop when the surgery ends.
Post-op recovery is a critical window, and thromboembolic events (like strokes or deep vein clots) are risks we have to watch like a hawk every single shift.
Taking this course gave me a much deeper look into the latest low-bleed anticoagulation protocols, which means I can bring sharper eyes and better clinical judgment straight to the ward floor tomorrow.
Investing in my education is non-negotiable for me, especially as I keep looking toward global standards and expanding my horizons in healthcare.
One milestone at a time!”
