Deepak Rawat: A Diagnosis Like Immune Thrombocytopenia Changes Your Perspective
Deepak Rawat, People Business Partner for Corporate Functions, R&D, and M&S in South Korea and ANZ at Sanofi, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A diagnosis like immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) doesn’t just change your health. It changes your perspective.
ITP is not simply a disease of low platelet count. It is a condition rooted in complex immune system dysregulation, and for many patients, the impact goes well beyond lab results.
Fatigue and other impacts on quality of life, such as anxiety and effects on cognitive function, are real parts of the lived experience.
For Isabel, anxiety and feelings of isolation were a starting point. Finding a supportive community helped her better understand her condition and move forward with confidence.
Isabel’s experience is a powerful reminder that connection in the face of uncertainty can be a source of empowerment, and once empowered, she was able to better learn about and understand her ITP diagnosis.”
